An Ercol Dark Wood Two-Part Dresser
Description
An English dark-stained wood dresser comprising an upper plate rack and a lower sideboard base. The upper section features a three-tier open plate rack with shaped side supports. The base unit contains two drawers over a pair of panelled cupboard doors, fitted with turned wooden knobs and distinctive wooden latches. The piece is constructed from dark-stained wood, typically elm and beech. A rectangular blue and silver foil label is present on a wooden rail, featuring a central silhouette of a craftsman and reading MADE IN at the top left, ERCOL in the centre, and ENGLAND at the bottom right.
