Royal Dux Bohemia Porcelain Figurine of a Woman Carrying Grapes
Description
A Royal Dux Bohemia glazed porcelain figurine depicting a young woman in traditional folk costume. The figure is captured in mid-stride, carrying a woven basket in one hand and a cluster of grapes in the other. She is dressed in a white blouse and a blue bodice with gold accents, over a deep cobalt blue skirt featuring applied porcelain vine leaves and grapes. The figurine is mounted on a Rococo-style scroll-work base decorated with gold gilt highlights. The base features an applied raised pink clay triangle mark for Royal Dux Bohemia with a central letter E. A circular blue backstamp is present, reading MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC and HAND PAINTED around a central triangle logo. Additional hand-painted marks include the number 04 in reddish-brown and A7 in blue, alongside a green circular mark containing the letter R. The underside retains a gold oval retailer label for H.R. Jackson and auction lot tags.
