Arts and Crafts Golden Oak Canterbury Music Cabinet
Description
An Arts and Crafts golden oak Canterbury music cabinet of single-piece construction. The cabinet is crafted from quartersawn oak with prominent medullary ray flecking throughout the grain. It features a rectangular top with a shaped and bevelled front edge that overhangs a single cupboard door. The door contains two raised rectangular panels and is secured by a wooden turn-button latch. The interior comprises a single open storage compartment. The piece is raised on four block feet, with the front pair featuring decorative scrolled brackets. There is a small white circular sticker on the underside of the top overhang and a blue circular sticker on the interior base.
