Two Walking Sticks comprising a Geometric Carved Hardwood Knobkerrie and a Bamboo Crook-Handle Cane
Description
A pair of walking sticks including a knobkerrie-style stick and a crook-handle cane. The knobkerrie is crafted from a dark, dense hardwood and features a large, smooth spherical knob head. The upper portion of the shaft is decorated with intricate carved bands of geometric and cross-hatched patterns. A white adhesive label is attached near the head, on which the characters 2 and 2 are legible, though other text is not decipherable. The second walking stick is constructed from a light-coloured wood with natural nodes, characteristic of bamboo or rattan, featuring a polished golden-brown finish and a standard crook handle. A white adhesive label reading 281 is affixed to the shaft near the handle. The base is fitted with a black rubber ferrule.
