A Maritime Themed Wall Mounted Instrument Suite by FCC England
Description
A maritime-themed wall-mounted instrument suite by FCC England, comprising an aneroid barometer, a quartz clock, and a centrally positioned bell, all mounted to a rectangular medium-toned wooden plaque. The barometer is housed in a circular brass-effect case, featuring a white dial with scales for inches of mercury and millibars, alongside traditional weather prognostications. The dial is marked F C C ENGLAND, MILLIBARS, and BAROMETER OF PRECISION. The quartz clock is contained in a matching brass-effect case with a white dial displaying black Roman numerals and three hands, marked F C C ENGLAND and QUARTZ. Between the two instruments is a cast metal bell with a textured green verdigris patina, fitted with an internal clapper and a white braided rope pull-cord. The wooden mount is finished with four decorative brass-effect corner brackets and two metal hanging loops at the upper edge.
