A collection of vintage hardback and paperback books and pamphlets. The grouping contains several cloth-bound and paperbound editions including A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens with a green cloth cover, a Harrap edition of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, and Essex by Charles Bray in a Convoy edition. Further titles include School in the Skies by R. S. Lyons in a Collins edition, Mr. Buchan’s Wellington, Aesop’s Fables, and From Chum to Chum by L. R. Forsyth. The lot also includes a series of thin paperbound pamphlets. A white rectangular adhesive label is fixed to the spine of the Dickens volume, bearing the printed text SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 402 01132602626. A smaller white rectangular adhesive label is fixed to the spine of the Aesop’s Fables volume, bearing the printed number 12704.
