A Collection of Decorative Landscape and Floral Ceramic Plates
Description
A collection of transfer-printed ceramic decorative plates and display racks. The assortment is presented in three distinct groups. One stack rests on a circular dark wood base and features a top plate with a scalloped rim and a central motif of yellow primroses and blue forget-me-nots. A second group is held within a white-coated metal wire rack, featuring a pastoral scene of two horses, one chestnut and one grey, standing under a mature tree. The third group, also in a white metal rack, depicts a detailed village scene with thatched cottages, figures in period dress, and a horse and carriage outside a public house. A white printed adhesive label on the village scene plate group reads SHOBLEYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 401 13/02/2024. A secondary handwritten white label is marked J2704. No maker’s marks or backstamps are visible on the plates in the provided imagery.
