A Collection of Metalware, Glassware, and a Mother-of-Pearl Inlaid Hardwood Box
Description
A dark hardwood box with a hinged lid, featuring intricate mother-of-pearl inlay depicting cranes and bamboo. The lid bears two white adhesive labels, one printed with the number 355 and the other handwritten with the text £2700. The collection further includes silver-plated tablewares comprising a stand for four egg cups with a central ring handle and a cut-glass preserve jar with a geometric pattern, housed in a silver-plated frame with a swing handle. Also present are a copper pitcher, a pewter-style tankard, and an oval pressed-glass dish with a starburst pattern to the base. A small silver-tone metal figurine of a seated figure is included; around the base are the inscribed lowercase characters for a little boy. The lot is completed by two folding pocket knives, one with a dark textured handle and the other with a composite handle.
