A Group of Decorative Ceramics including a Calendar Plate and Pink Imbricated Bowl
Description
An assortment of ceramic tableware consisting of a bowl and several plates. The prominent bowl features a pink interior decorated with a repeating imbricated scale pattern and a polychrome floral exterior. Affixed to the interior of the bowl is a white printed adhesive label reading SHELLEY AUCTIONEERS 344 01189502624 and a smaller white adhesive label with handwritten text L. 2847. The stack includes a blue and white transfer-printed calendar plate displaying the months SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, and FEBRUARY around a central floral motif. Beneath this are several other blue and white transferware plates and a large platter featuring varying floral and scrolling patterns. No measurements are possible as no scale is present in the image.
