A Collection of Decorative Tableware and Collectables including a Royal Crown Derby Imari Plate and a Cased Cutlery Set
Description
An English Royal Crown Derby porcelain plate decorated in the Imari Kings pattern with cobalt blue, iron red, and gilt highlights featuring a scalloped rim. A small white adhesive label with the handwritten number 2077 is affixed to the face of the plate. The underside of the plate bears a red printed mark with the characters ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND arranged in a curve above a crown device, an interlaced D monogram, and a small geometric date cypher. A cased cutlery set comprises multiple knives and forks with cream-coloured handles and silver-toned metal blades and tines, presented in a fabric-lined box. An adhesive white label on the cutlery is printed with SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 330. The collection also includes several silver-toned metal vessels including a chased chalice and multiple miniature cups, a pair of brass balance scales mounted on a yellow onyx base, a small octagonal wooden box, and a circular lidded pot with shell-inlaid decoration.
