Description
A collection of various military and historical-themed figurines and collectibles, including hand-painted models depicting 18th and 19th-century soldiers in ceremonial and battle dress. The group includes a grenadier in a tall bearskin cap and blue tunic, a standard bearer on a circular wooden plinth, and a silver-toned metal figure of a knight in full plate armour. Smaller miniatures include a mounted soldier and a prone infantryman. The collection features two glass-domed displays; the larger dome is set on a circular wooden base containing a figurine, and a second, separate glass dome is present. One standing soldier bears hand-painted text to the base reading de Cavalerie. A modern white adhesive label is affixed to the large glass dome reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS, LOT, 329, 01132602626.
