Description

A hexagonal jigsaw puzzle by James Peters featuring a traditional British riverside landscape. The scene, depicted across numerous interlocking porcelain tiles, illustrates a four-arch stone bridge spanning a river alongside a half-timbered building set amongst flowering trees. The puzzle is constructed of fine white porcelain tiles, each formed as an identical hexagon. These are housed within a custom hexagonal wooden presentation box featuring a burl-effect veneer and a gold-tone inner rim. The interior of the hinged lid is lined with red felt. The item is accompanied by a printed white rectangular card titled James Peters PORCELAIN JIGSAW PUZZLES in black text. The card provides information on the puzzle’s construction, noting that there are six ways to place each identical piece, and includes a quote attributed to Eric Knowles of The Antiques Roadshow describing the item as a future heirloom.
