A Group of Poole Pottery and Stoneware Ceramics
Description
A group of ceramic items consisting of a divided serving dish, a pedestal cake stand, and a stoneware hot water bottle. The divided serving dish features a turquoise glazed interior and an off-white exterior. The base of the dish bears a printed mark in a light blue oval containing a sea creature logo and the characters POOLE ENGLAND, with the word TWINTONE in a curve below. The pedestal cake stand is decorated with a green transfer-printed foliage motif on the stem. The base of the stand is marked in dark brown with the characters Country Lane above a sea creature logo, followed by Poole England. A small, circular orange adhesive label is also attached to the underside of the base. The hot water bottle is made of tan-glazed stoneware and includes its original matching ceramic screw-in stopper. A white adhesive label is affixed to the side reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 31.
