A Collection of Yellow Uranium and Slag Glass Tableware
Description
A collection of yellow art glass pieces featuring various decorative styles and glass-making techniques. The group includes items with opalescent rims, such as a large ribbed bowl and a matching pitcher with a scroll handle. Also present are several pieces showing a marbled yellow and white slag glass effect, including a lidded jar and two small bottles. The collection further contains two translucent yellow glass tumblers, one of which is decorated with a gilded foliate scroll pattern above a clear glass base, and a small footed dish with a single handle. A white rectangular adhesive label is applied to the interior of the large bowl with handwritten characters in black ink reading 12847 over D. A second white rectangular adhesive label on the large bowl reads SCARLETTE AUCTIONEERS LOT 307 02/10/2024.
