A Group of Assorted Art Glass including Cut Glass and Sculptural Forms
Description
A group of assorted art glass comprises several items demonstrating various glassmaking techniques. A tall cased glass vase in a cranberry colour features a flared rim and wheel-cut geometric decoration consisting of diamond-hatch and star-burst patterns; the side bears a white rectangular adhesive label reading 12847 B. A cylindrical dark green glass bottle is paired with a matching glass stopper, featuring a white adhesive label that reads SHELBY’S AUCTIONEERS LOT 303 01/12/2023. The group includes two organic-form pulled-glass bowls, one in deep red and the other in a pale yellow hue. Two figurative sculptures are also present, consisting of a clear glass bird with a blue internal core and a larger amber glass fish or dolphin sculpture with pulled fins and internal controlled bubbling.
