A British Elizabeth II Highland Dress Broadsword and Scabbard
Description
A British Elizabeth II Highland dress broadsword featuring an ornate gilt-metal basket hilt with openwork fleur-de-lis motifs and a black textured liner. The straight steel blade is decorated with etched foliate scrolls on both sides. One side of the blade displays a royal cipher consisting of the characters E and R beneath a crown symbol. The reverse side features a British Royal Coat of Arms displaying a heraldic shield with lions and a harp beneath a crown. The sword is housed in a black leather scabbard with two gilt-metal mounts. A black cord sword knot is attached to the hilt. A white adhesive label reading 253 and 01132502626 is attached to the scabbard leather.
