An Assortment of Silver and Gem-Set Jewellery including an Elephant-Form Piece and Multiple Rings
Description
A collection of silver-toned jewellery presented in a light blue cardboard box. The group includes an elephant-form decorative piece, possibly a brooch or pendant, set with numerous marcasite-style stones, a large central black cabochon, and a small red stone for the eye. The lot further comprises several rings: one featuring a teardrop-shaped orange-brown cabochon in a partial rub-over setting, a textured wrap-around style ring, and a wide open-band ring with a planished finish. A group of thin, twisted-wire bangles is also included. The box features two white adhesive labels, one handwritten as SILVER and the other 12696. A larger white adhesive tag from Shelbys Auctioneers is present, reading SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 238 and 01132502626. While the handwritten label indicates silver content, no official hallmarks or maker’s marks are legible on the items from the provided images.
