Description
A collection of decorative porcelain cabinet items finished in a deep maroon glaze with extensive gilt scrolling and lace-patterned borders. Each piece is decorated with a central reserve featuring a romantic, pastoral vignette of figures in 18th-century dress. The assortment includes two large display plates, several smaller plates and saucers, a double-handled baluster vase, a miniature ornamental clock, a small basket with an overhead handle, a boot-shaped ornament, and several miniature jugs. A white rectangular adhesive label is attached to a central plate, printed in black with SHELBYS AUCTIONEERS LOT 217 01132502626. A smaller white rectangular adhesive label is attached to the neck of a handled vase, handwritten in black ink with 12703 D. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or backstamps are visible from the primary viewing angle.
