A Collection of Mehanotehnika HO Scale Model Railway Items and Buildings
Description
This lot comprises a boxed Mehanotehnika HO scale model railway set and a selection of scenic accessories. The train set, manufactured in Izola, Yugoslavia, is a battery-operated electric model designed for use with two 4.5V batteries. The original graphic box is marked MEHANOTEHNIKA and ELEKTRICNA ZELEZNICA. Visible through the display windows are a blue locomotive and three passenger carriages in green and yellow liveries. The collection includes three model buildings. Two matching mock-Tudor style houses feature half-timbered white walls with black beam detailing and grey tiled roofs. The third building is a two-storey red brick station or warehouse with yellow arched door and window inserts. Further accessories include a dual-arm semaphore signal and a level crossing. Construction materials include printed cardboard for the packaging and moulded plastic for the rolling stock and buildings.
