Royal Crown Derby Imari Seated Cat Porcelain Paperweight
Description
A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china paperweight depicting a seated cat, decorated in the traditional Imari palette of cobalt blue, iron red, and orange. The figurine features extensive 22-carat gold gilding, including details on the ears, paws, and facial features. The cat is modelled with its head turned to the left and has bright blue eyes. The base displays a red Royal Crown Derby printed mark, the date code MMII for 2002, and is marked MADE IN ENGLAND. A gold-coloured metal stopper is present, embossed with the Royal Crown Derby crown and monogram. Additional hand-painted marks in gold (MN) and red (x) are visible on the underside.
