A Royal Crown Derby porcelain paperweight modelled as a seated teddy bear. The figure is decorated with a white ground featuring gilded and cobalt blue scrollwork to the head and limbs. It wears a blue bow tie and a waistcoat embellished in a traditional Imari palette of iron red, cobalt blue, and gold with geometric and foliate motifs. The bear features gilded accents to the ears and paws. An auction tag is attached to the arm marked Shelbys Auctioneers Lot 105. A small adhesive label is present on the chest bearing the hand-written number 12850 over a character B.
