A Collection of Four Ceramic Character Figurines including Beswick and Royal Doulton Examples
Description
A collection of four glazed ceramic figurines featuring popular Disney and literary characters. The group includes a vintage Beswick figurine of Christopher Robin depicted standing and holding a red book, marked to the base with Walt Disney Productions and Beswick England stamps. Also included is a Royal Doulton Christopher Robin figurine titled Strums A Melody (WP 70) from the Winnie the Pooh collection, dated 2006 and produced in Thailand. The collection further comprises a Royal Doulton Rupert Bear figurine depicting the character in a red jumper and checked trousers, titled Finishing Arrows and Stringing His Bow, and a Pinocchio figurine produced for Walt Disney Attractions, Lake Buena Vista, marked as made in China. All figurines feature hand-decorated polychrome glazes.
