A Collection of Murano Style Ruby Glass and Large Art Glass Vases
Description
A collection of mid-20th-century and later decorative glassware, featuring several Venetian and Murano style pieces. The assortment includes a group of ruby red glass bud vases, each designed with a slender neck, flared rim, and bulbous body, set upon clear glass stems with a textured scale-like pattern and circular feet. Included is a ruby glass goblet decorated in the Tre Fuochi (three fires) technique, showcasing heavy gold-tone scrollwork and hand-painted enamel floral motifs in shades of pink, white, and green. This piece is raised on a twisted gilt-finished stem and circular base. A partially visible blue glass vessel features matching gilt and enamel floral decoration. The collection also comprises two large-scale hand-blown vessels: a light-blue fluted vase on a clear stem and a smoky-grey bulbous vase on a short dark stem. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
