An assortment of decorative ceramics. The collection is led by a McVitie’s branded ceramic biscuit barrel modelled as a penguin, finished in navy blue, white, and orange glazes. The figure features the printed slogan P…P…PICK UP A PENGUIN on the chest and bears a handwritten price tag to the head and a white adhesive auction label to the belly. The group includes a dark green glazed earthenware tankard with relief-molded decoration for the Flemish Inn, Ostend, depicting a lion rampant crest. Also present is a low, rounded art pottery bowl with a multi-tonal drip glaze in shades of orange, terracotta, and cream, alongside pieces of white earthenware with a heavy bead-like textured surface, comprising a tall tapered vase with beige drip-glaze accents and a globular bottle-form vase with a band of purple beads.
