A Vintage Two-Tone Carved Soapstone Floral Table Lamp Base
Description
A vintage table lamp base constructed from two distinct sections of hand-carved soapstone. The item features a tapering cylindrical form, with the upper portion in a pale celadon green hue and the lower portion and integral globular foot in a soft pink tone. Both sections are decorated with deeply incised floral and foliate motifs. The top of the green section is hollowed out to accommodate a light fitting. The lamp is equipped with a white plastic-coated electrical flex and a standard UK three-pin plug. A small adhesive label to the green section is inscribed with 12847 p. No further maker marks or signatures are present.
