Description
A pair of works on paper by the British artist Brian Needham. The first work, an autumnal rural landscape, is executed in gouache and bodycolour on wove paper, depicting a path through dense, textured foliage in an impressionistic style. It is signed vertically BREN NEEDHAM along the right-hand edge and is housed in a light wood moulded frame. The second work is a watercolour with gouache highlights on paper, illustrating a snowy village scene with a prominent house and vehicle in a loose, illustrative style. This piece is signed and dated BRIAN NEEDHAM 2003 in the lower right and is presented in a green-painted frame with a blue-bordered mat, currently protected under plastic wrap. These Brian Needham paintings showcase the artist’s versatility in depicting the British countryside across different seasons.
