Aurum, 31-Day Regulator Wall Clock, Late 20th Century
Description
An Aurum 31-day regulator wall clock of South Korean manufacture. The mechanical movement is a 31-day key-wind system with two winding arbors, designed to strike on the hour and half-hour. The dark-stained wooden case features a glazed front door flanked by decorative turned side pilasters and is topped with a split-arch pediment. The dial is configured with a brushed brass-toned chapter ring, black Roman numerals, and a central wood-grain finish section, further embellished with ornate gilt-coloured spandrels in the corners. The dial is marked Aurum and 31 Day. Accompanied by a brass-toned pendulum and winding key. Dimensions: 61cm x 28cm x 12cm.
