Harmony House Dresdania Pattern Fine China Dinnerware Service, Japan, Mid-20th Century
Description
A partial dinner service of fine porcelain by Harmony House in the Dresdania pattern, manufactured in Japan. The set features a crisp white glaze decorated with delicate polychrome floral sprays and finished with elegant gilt-trimmed rims. The assembly comprises a circular covered tureen with a decorative finial and twin handles, a gravy boat with an integrated underplate, and approximately twenty-four plates in three graduated sizes. Each piece bears the maker’s hallmark to the underside: HARMONY HOUSE FINE CHINA DRESDANIA MADE IN JAPAN. This pattern reflects the refined floral aesthetics popular in mid-century export ceramics. Dinner plates approximately 25.5 cm diameter; tureen approximately 28 cm across handles.
