A Derby Hand-Painted Underglaze Blue Floral Wine Taster, circa 1765
Description
A small, globular white ceramic bottle or flask with a narrow neck, slightly flared rim, and pedestal foot. The body is adorned with underglaze blue hand-painted floral motifs, featuring a cluster of flowers and foliage on one side, with smaller, individual blooms scattered on the reverse. The material appears to be porcelain or fine earthenware.
