Lot 356:
Various Makers, Three Miniature Scale-Model Replica Electric Guitars, Tribute Collection, Modern
Description
This lot comprises three 1:4 scale-model collectible guitar replicas, designed for display purposes. The first is a miniature double-neck electric guitar, finished in gloss cherry red with gold-tone hardware, modelled after the Gibson EDS-1275 famously associated with Jimmy Page. It features a twin-neck configuration with 12-string and 6-string fretboards and black pickguards. The second item is a replica of a Gretsch G6120-style hollowbody guitar, featuring a dark walnut or burgundy stain, white binding, and gold-tone hardware, including a Bigsby-style vibrato tailpiece and Gretsch branding. The third item is a tribute to Jimi Hendrix’s 1967 Gibson Flying V, featuring a black body with intricate, multi-coloured psychedelic floral and scroll-work graphics, a white pickguard, and chrome-tone hardware. Each model is constructed from moulded resin and plastic, with manufacturers such as Tario suggested by research consensus, featuring wood-grain effect fretboards and measuring approximately 25 to 28 cm in length.
