Lot 254:
A Collection of Jewellery including Art Deco Style Butterscotch Amber Beads, Cultured Pearl Necklaces, and a Hardstone Bracelet
Description
This mixed lot comprises a variety of jewellery items and components. Featured is a significant quantity of opaque, orange-toned beads in ovoid and barrel forms, which appear to be butterscotch or egg yolk Baltic amber in the Art Deco style; these are presented as a partially strung necklace on a fine yellow-toned chain alongside a grouping of loose, unstrung elements. The collection also includes two strands of dark grey-toned round beads, appearing to be dyed cultured pearls, secured with silver-toned metal clasps, and a single strand of small, off-white cultured pearls with a yellow-toned metal clasp. Additionally, there is a green bead bracelet, appearing to be jade or a similar hardstone, strung on a coordinating green cord. The metal components are unmarked and appear to be silver-toned and yellow-toned alloys. No hallmarks or purity stamps are visible.
