A Marbled Gourd Vessel with Metal Rim, Signed 'A.S.' or 'ALS'
Description
An ovate, gourd-shaped vessel, featuring a glossy, marbled surface predominantly in shades of orange, yellow, and brown, with interspersed green and darker accents. The main body appears to be a natural gourd or similar organic material, fitted with a dark, possibly silver-toned or pewter metal rim at its narrow opening. The matte black base bears an incised marking, which appears to read ‘A.S.’ or ‘ALS’.
