Bow Porcelain Prunus-Molded Two-Handled Cup, Circa 1750-1752
Description
A Bow Porcelain Prunus-Molded Two-Handled Cup, circa 1750-1752. This off-white porcelain or fine ceramic cup features raised molded floral decorations, resembling plum or cherry blossoms, on one side, and ornate, scrolled handles. The base of the cup shows a glazed foot rim but no discernible manufacturer’s marks or text. It is presented on a simple white-coated wire metal stand.
