Wedgwood 'Leaf & Vine' Gilded Teacup and Saucer
Description
A Wedgwood ‘Leaf & Vine’ teacup and saucer set. Crafted from white porcelain or fine bone china, both pieces feature an all-over embossed relief pattern of stylized leaves. The rims of both the cup and saucer, along with the cup’s delicate handle, are finished with metallic gold gilding. The underside of the saucer is clearly marked “WEDG WOOD.” above “Y 1856 WEDGWOOD,” with “Y 1856” likely indicating a date code or pattern series.
