A Mid-20th Century Studio Ceramic Globular Vase, Signed 'A'
Description
A globular ceramic vessel, likely a vase or pot, presenting a two-tone aesthetic in dark grey/charcoal and creamy white or pale grey. The flattened top and circular base are matte-textured with horizontal striations. The top also features small, incised asterisk-like floral motifs around a central opening. The main body boasts a glossy finish with a repeating pattern of large, stylized dark grey floral elements. A prominent incised mark resembling a capital ‘A’ is present on the base.
