A Pair of Royal Doulton Flambé Glazed Ceramic Wares
Description
This lot comprises two ceramic items, both finished in a deep red, high-gloss flambé glaze with variegated dark tones. The first item is a handled jug or tankard, featuring a dark, scenic landscape motif. Its base is marked ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’, ‘ROYAL DOULTON’ alongside a crown and intertwined ‘D’ logo, and ‘FLAMBÉ’. The second piece is a globular vase or jar with a small opening, similarly finished in the red flambé glaze. Its base is marked ‘ROYAL DOULTON FLAMBÉ’.
