Description
A Wolf Patterson No. 75 Miner’s Safety Lamp, featuring a robust, utilitarian design. It is constructed from heavily rusted iron or steel for the protective upper housing and flared base, and aged brass for the framing of the cylindrical glass globe, which encloses a visible wick mechanism. A sturdy metal shackle and loop are present at the top for suspension. Faint impressed markings on the brass band directly above the base read “THE WOLF PAT”.
