A substantial collection of 200 various age postcards comprising a diverse range of topographical, historical, and thematic subjects. The lot features early 20th-century Edwardian examples alongside mid-century comic and greeting cards. Notable inclusions consist of a historical card depicting the twisted iron remains of the Tay Bridge Disaster, 28th December 1879, and a colour lithograph of Lerwick harbour from the Burrow Cheltenham British Colour Series. The collection includes real photo cards, sepia-toned artistic figure studies, and embossed floral Happy Birthday greetings. Topographical views encompass British landscapes, aerial photography, and street-level scenes of various towns and villages.
