Natural Organic Material T-Handle Ebony Walking Stick, Circa 1900
Description
This antique walking stick features a T-shaped handle crafted from a natural organic material, likely aged ivory or bone, displaying a characteristic yellowish-tan patina and fine surface checking. The handle is mounted to a tapered, polished ebony shaft of deep black colour. A decorative, thin silver collar joins the handle to the shaft, featuring intricate embossed and engraved foliate scrollwork. As noted in the accompanying documentation, the metalwork is unmarked. This is a standard walking stick with no internal system features.
