Description
A collection of UK numismatic and commemorative items featuring four examples of The Royal Mint Henry VIII £5 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin presentation packs, issued in 2009. Each pack features a portrait of Henry VIII after Hans Holbein the Younger and contains the commemorative £5 coin. Several packs also contain loose standard UK circulation coinage including 20p, 5p, 2p, and 1p denominations.
The collection includes an assortment of cased commemorative medallions of varying metal compositions. A group of four medallions in red velvet-lined cases are labelled with white printed text as Queen Victoria 1837-1901 Solid Proof Medallion, Carisbrooke Castle Solid Proof Medallion, Osborne House Solid Proof Medallion, and Harewood House Solid Proof Medallion. A group of four medallions in blue velvet-lined cases feature adhesive labels reading York Castle Museum Gold Plated Medallion, Scarborough Castle 22ct Gold Plated, H.M.S. Victory 22ct Gold Plated Medallion, and The Mary Rose 22ct Gold Plated Medallion. A single medallion in a green case is labelled Lincoln Cathedral 22ct Gold Plated Medallion.
