Description
A collection of vintage architectural building sets featuring three boxed examples and one open box of loose components. The three boxes feature blue card lids with large rectangular yellow and multicoloured labels. Each label is printed with an illustration of a boy and girl building a house above the text BAYKO BUILDING SET and the slogan A fascinating pastime for all ages. The labels include the printed manufacturer name PLIMPTON ENGINEERING CO LTD LIVERPOOL and the location MADE IN ENGLAND. Additional printed text identifies PATENT No 422645 and states FOREIGN PATENTS PENDING. The open box contains red plastic structural elements, including a series of square and rectangular roof sections and base plates, consistent with early Bakelite or similar plastic production.
