A George III style mahogany chest of drawers
Description
A George III style mahogany chest of drawers featuring a crossbanded top above a configuration of two short and three long graduated drawers. The drawer fronts are finished with cockbeading and fitted with brass swan-neck handles mounted on embossed oval backplates, accompanied by diamond-shaped bone escutcheons. The carcass is supported on splayed bracket feet. A rectangular wood inset is visible on the left side of the carcass.
