A Schreiber Mid-Century Teak Drop-Leaf Tea Trolley
Description
A mid-century modern teak tea trolley or mobile side table manufactured by the British firm Schreiber. The piece features a rectangular top with two hinged drop-leaf extensions. The supporting frame consists of four round tapered legs with a single open lower shelf. The unit is fitted with metal ball castors at the base of each leg. The printed white manufacturer mark SCHREIBER is present on the underside of the tabletop. The construction utilizes teak veneers over a composite core, typical of the manufacturer output during the 1960s and 1970s.
