Description
A Chad Valley bagatelle game, manufactured by Chad Valley Co Ltd. The game is constructed from wood with a dark green painted finish and features a classic arched top. The playing surface is populated with multiple scoring holes, each with an oval yellow label indicating values from 5 to 150, alongside one hole marked ALL DEAD BALLS BACK. Metal pins are arranged across the board in various circular and linear patterns to direct the path of the balls. A small oval manufacturer’s label is positioned at the centre of the board, bearing the text CHAD VALLEY WORKS. The game is operated by a spring-loaded plunger located on the right-hand side, featuring a turned wooden handle with a red painted tip. An integrated wooden reservoir on the right side holds eight steel balls.
