A Collection of Blue and White Delft-style Decorative Ceramics
Description
A collection of blue and white glazed ceramic items, predominantly decorated in the Dutch Delft style with transfer-printed landscapes and architectural motifs. The collection includes a large circular decorative plate depicting a windmill in a riverside setting, and a stack of four circular plates featuring concentric floral and geometric borders with a mottled blue centre, similar to designs produced by Boch. The group further comprises a tall cylindrical bottle with a matching stopper, three miniature architectural models of Dutch canal houses, a cow-shaped creamer, a pair of cylindrical salt and pepper shakers, and a small open vessel. One of the shakers bears a blue handwritten mark R. and a small white inventory label is affixed to the face of the large plate.
Large plate: 30cm diameter approx.
