Beswick Ceramic Shire Horse Burnham Beauty Figurine
Description
A large Beswick ceramic figurine depicting a Shire horse in a standing pose, identified as the Burnham Beauty model. The piece is finished in a high-gloss brown glaze with a white blaze to the face and four white feathered stockings. The mane and tail are detailed in a contrasting cream-yellow colour. The underside of the belly features a circular black backstamp reading BESWICK ENGLAND, accompanied by a hand-painted black mark in the shape of an O. A small white inventory sticker with the number 9777 is present on the horse’s flank.
