A Collection of Decorative Glassware and Porcelain Bells Including Decanters and Commemorative Items
Description
A varied assortment of decorative glassware and ceramics presented across a single shelf. The glass selection includes several large clear glass decanters, one featuring a multi-faceted spherical stopper and another with a flared silver-toned metal rim. Also present is a tall, slender amber-brown glass bottle with a gilded neck ring and two small, frilled clear glass dishes with amber-coloured rims. The collection features an extensive group of bells in various styles, including a blue and white porcelain bell in the Delft style decorated with a windmill scene, a white porcelain bell featuring a musical piano motif and commemorative text, and several floral-patterned porcelain bells with blue and pink blossoms. A selection of gilt-decorated ceramic bells in deep navy and burgundy is also included, alongside various glass bells in clear and coloured glass, some with textured finishes. Other objects comprise a white porcelain vase with polychrome floral sprays and a small white ceramic plaque. Visible markings include the printed characters ARRO ART above ARTESANIA CERAMICA and MADE IN VALENCIA ESPAÑA on the ceramic plaque, and the characters YEAR 2000 on the commemorative bell. One decanter bears a paper auction label for Shelleys Auctioneers marked Lot 386.
