An Assortment of Vintage Costume Jewellery and Decorative Stone Boxes
Description
A large collection of various costume jewellery items and two small decorative boxes. The assortment includes a variety of necklaces such as a turquoise-coloured beaded strand, a shell-chip necklace, and multiple chains in gold-tone and silver-tone finishes. Notable brooches feature a large crescent moon set with pink and white rhinestones, a gold-tone filigree butterfly, and a circular openwork pendant. A selection of rings is present, including a silver-tone ring with a large blue oval stone and a piece set with orange and yellow stones. Included in the lot are two small boxes: one octagonal stone box with a floral inlay on the lid and a rectangular box with a mottled orange and brown finish. A small grey presentation box contains two pairs of earrings, comprising a pair of gold-tone square studs and a pair of silver-tone oval earrings with iridescent shell or mother-of-pearl centres. The pieces exhibit various finishes including gold-tone, silver-tone, and copper-tone, with accents of glass, plastic, and semi-precious stones. No maker’s marks or hallmarks were clearly identified during inspection.
