Description
A collection of UK and international coinage and commemorative items. The lot features several UK five-pound and crown-sized commemorative issues, including a 1981 Royal Wedding crown, ANNO DOMINI 2000 five-pound pieces, and a Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother 1900-2002 commemorative. Included is a Daily Mail commemorative postcard relating to World War I enlistment, housing a single coin. The assembly comprises various base metal denominations, such as UK pre-decimal shillings and sixpences, alongside decimal pence. International issues include an Irish 1996 punt of the Celtic harp type and a coin of the Polish eagle type. One silver-toned coin is presented in a square black frame with a St. George and the Dragon reverse. The items consist of cupro-nickel, copper-nickel, and bronze-toned alloys. Some coins are housed in protective plastic flips and holders.
