A Collection of Vintage Plastic Toy Figures including Wild West and Military Themes
Description
An assortment of vintage toy figures produced from moulded plastic. The collection encompasses several historical and genre-based themes. The Wild West category includes various Native American figures in active poses with bows, spears, and tomahawks, alongside cowboy and frontiersman figures. Military history is represented by British infantry figures, including 18th or 19th-century Redcoats, a ceremonial Guardsman in a bearskin cap, and Napoleonic-style soldiers in blue uniforms. A medieval figure of a Crusader knight in a white surcoat with a red cross is present. Modern military subjects include combat soldiers in green and khaki drab, depicted in various tactical positions such as kneeling, prone, and advancing. The group also includes a figure of a fallen horse. Several figures feature rectangular weighted bases characteristic of the Britains Deetail range, while others reflect styles attributed to manufacturers such as Crescent Toys and Timpo. No manufacturer marks are clearly legible from visual inspection.
